After reading the article, Marketing Myopia article by Ted Levitt, I can now think of different strategies in terms of Marketing for my own business, Skulls and Bones. The best way to describe this article in simple terms is to value your customers. When you value your customers in time the trust and reputation of your company would have an impact to your target market and your company will be recommended. To hold on to your customers is important. The more they are satisfied the more credibility you get thus, attracting more customers who are potential long-term customers too.

From my personal experience it is a big factor to multiply your customers because the more satisfied they get the more recommendations through word of mouth different marketing strategies. I started out with only 5 customers a month now out of the first 5, 3 for my customers still consume my products up till today. And those 3 customers are connected to my other 8 customers therefore proving the theory of Ted Levitt.

Now I can now see how valuable your customers are in terms of the level of their satisfaction. We should not just add but multiply and in order to do that, keep your customers satisfied.
